What you agree to when you order from Heritage Remedy Co. or book a consultation, in plain words. Read the label on every remedy before you use it.
In effect from 21 October 2026

Who we are
Heritage Remedy Co. (Heritage Remedy Co LLC) is Morgan Murphy's small batch herbal remedy business in Krum, Texas. These terms cover this website, everything bought through its shop, and the consultations booked through it. Placing an order or sending a consultation request means you accept them.
Our remedies are not medical care
These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Our teas, tinctures, glycerites, salves and skin care are traditional herbal preparations. Nothing on this website, on a label or in a consultation is medical advice, a diagnosis or a substitute for care from your doctor, midwife or other provider.
- Read each product's page and its label before you use it, including the ingredients, the directions and any note about pregnancy, nursing or children.
- Check with your provider first if you are pregnant or nursing, take medication, or are buying for a child.
- Stop using a remedy and seek care if you react to it.
Made in a private residence
Every remedy is made by hand in small batches in Morgan's home under Texas cottage food rules, which is why every label carries the same statement: “This product was produced in a private residence that is not subject to governmental licensing or inspection.” DSHS Registration ID: 10870.
Herbs vary from harvest to harvest, and a label can be reprinted between batches. The label on the bottle, jar or pouch you receive is the one to follow.
Ordering and paying
- Prices are in US dollars and are the ones shown on the product page and in your basket.
- Payment is taken by Stripe on our checkout page. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us.
- Once your payment goes through, you are emailed a receipt with your order number (it begins HRC), and that is when your order is accepted.
- If we cannot fill an order, for instance because a price was shown in error, we will tell you and refund what you paid.
- A promo code or sale applies as it is described where it is offered, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Back-orders
When a size runs out, it can still be ordered as a back-order. The product page says so before you add it, and shows how long it is expected to take; your receipt marks the line as a back-order. You pay when you order, and it ships as soon as the next batch is ready. If you would rather not wait, get in touch before it ships.
Postage and delivery
We ship to addresses in the United States. The postage for your order is shown on the postage step, before you pay, and is charged with the order. Delivery times from the carrier are estimates, not promises.
If something is wrong with an order
Email or call Morgan with your order number if anything arrives broken, is missing, or is not what you ordered, and she will work it out with you. A refund, when there is one, goes back to the card you paid with, through Stripe.
Consultations
A Heritage Remedy Co. consultation is 20 minutes with Morgan, for $30, to talk through which remedies may suit you or to plan a custom blend. Sending the request form asks for one; Morgan replies to set a time. A consultation is a conversation about herbs, not a medical examination.

Our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any order is limited to what you paid for it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Nothing in them takes away a right you have by law.
Changes and contact
If these terms change, the new version is posted here with the date it takes effect, and the terms that apply to an order are the ones in effect when it was placed.
